OUR HISTORY
The Zeta Psi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma was founded on August 22nd, 1982 by Judy Cantona, Susan Crane, Susan Green, Ellen McLoughlin, Terri Roberts, Nancy Sterling, Harriet Thiele, and Phyllis Weinberg.
Our big sister chapter is Beta Xi at the University of Florida. Our little sister chapters are Theta Rho at Bethune Cookman University, Eta Xi at Georgia Southern University, and Iota Chi at the University of South Florida.
We have proudly been serving the Music Department at UCF since our chapter was established.
FAMILY HISTORY
Originally, we started with eight families. They were the Penguin, Cat, Deer, Pig, Turtle, Flamingo, Mouse, and Frog families.
Eventually all but the Pig family died out. Thus our chapter animal was born, and has become our chapter mascot.
